The California African American Museum, or CAAM, focuses on celebrating African Americans' cultural heritage and history with a special interest in California and the western US.

FOWLER MUSEUM.
Located on UCLA’s campus, the Fowler Museum deeply delves into art from Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas. The museum looks at both contemporary and historical work.

GETTY CENTER.
Opened to the public in 1997, the Getty Center is the quintessential Los Angeles experience. The museum offers a well-rounded collection of art and stunning views, gardens, and architecture.

GETTY VILLA.
Located in the Pacific Palisades, near to the Pacific Ocean, the Getty Villa displays ancient Greek and Roman art in a recreated Roman house.

HAMMER MUSEUM.
Affiliated with UCLA, the Hammer Museum is home to the Armand Hammer collection of American and European art. It also showcases cutting-edge exhibitions by contemporary artists in Los Angeles and abroad. Every two years, the museum holds the exhibition Made in LA, showcasing exciting local artists.

HAUSER & WIRTH.
One of the world's largest and most prominent galleries, Hauser & Wirth in Los Angeles occupies the Globe Mills complex, a former flour mill from the 19th and 20th centuries. Hauser & Wirth presents exhibitions of some of the most important established artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens.
Located on over 100 acres in San Marino (near Pasadena), the Huntington features themed gardens and endangered plant species. The art museum is host to British, European, American, and Asian art spanning 500 hundred years.

ICA LA.
The Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, re-established itself in 2017 with a new home in Downtown LA. The museum’s exhibitions highlight the diversity of contemporary art and culture today through exciting programming and curatorial vision.

LACMA.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art, or LACMA, is the largest art museum in the western US. The museum’s indoor/outdoor campus allows you to enjoy its diverse art collection, from ancient times to the present, and the beautiful weather.

MOCA – GRAND AVENUE.
Located in downtown Los Angeles and across the street from The Broad museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, or MOCA is the only artist-founded museum in Los Angeles. It hosts regular special exhibitions and a complex collection of contemporary art.

MOCA – THE GEFFEN CONTEMPORARY.
Another location of the Museum of Contemporary Art is The Geffen Contemporary in the Little Toyko area. The Geffen is a huge warehouse space that shows contemporary art and experimental art practices.

NORTON SIMON MUSEUM.
An excellent museum showcasing Norton Simon’s art collection, featuring many works by the French Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, nestled in a peaceful spot in Pasadena.

THE WENDE MUSEUM.
The Wende Museum is a quirky place to learn about the art and culture of the Cold War. The museum is home to a treasure trove of art and artifacts from former East Germany and the Soviet Union. It also features contemporary art exhibitions.

Beverly Hills Galleries.
Near the glitz and glamour of Rodeo Drive–you’ll find equally impressive, well-established galleries, such as Gagosian, UTA Artist Space, and Marc Selwyn Fine Art. Add a bit of nature to this tour by exploring Beverly Gardens Park, an outdoor sculpture garden in the heart of the neighborhood.

Breaking the myth that no one walks in LA, our Hollywood gallery tour is conducted on foot. We will visit contemporary galleries such as Diane Rosenstein and Various Small Fires.
