  • Fall Art Excursion in France: October 22 – October 30, 2024

    France offers endless appeal for travelers, particularly among art enthusiasts! Join us next fall on an exclusive nine-day excursion highlighting both well-known and rare art treasures, from ancient to contemporary. Art historian Susan Power, a member of the Art Muse LA team who is based in Paris, will lead this custom-designed trip that begins with two nights in Paris followed by six nights in historic Avignon.

  • Sacramento, California: February 2025

    The Sacramento region abounds with intriguing art venues! Our overnight jaunt will feature a private visit to The California State Library, where rare and iconic early photographs made in California during the Gold Rush are on view. The Crocker Art Museum, established in 1885 and the oldest public art museum west of the Mississippi, displays diverse holdings, including a premier collection of California art. Originally housed in founders E.B. and Margaret Crocker’s former mansion, the museum added an expansive modern pavilion in 2010. A short drive from Sacramento, on the campus of UC Davis, is the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art, an architecturally innovative structure earning acclaim as one of the best museum buildings of the past century. Opened in 2016, the new facility is the first contemporary art museum at the University and in the City of Davis. The museum hosts diverse exhibition and celebrates the legacy of avant-garde art-making at the University, where talents such as Wayne Thiebaud, Robert Arneson, and William T. Wiley were nurtured.

  • Savannah & Charleston, May 2025

    Join Art Muse LA and Miami for five days in Savannah, Charleston and the Carolina Lowcountry. Known for its colonial, Civil War-era, and Gullah history, the region also has an extremely rich arts scene including renowned American art collections, contemporary galleries, and artist studios at the famous Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). This trip will include a mix of art both old and new, a special visit to the brand new acclaimed International African American Museum in Charleston, and plenty of the region's excellent culinary offerings.

  • Santa Fe, New Mexico: October 2024

    Santa Fe, the sophisticated jewel of the Southwest, enthralls visitors with its intriguing history and vibrant art scene set amid a stunning high desert landscape. It embodies the best of the Southwest, proudly proclaiming its tri-cultural blend of Hispanic, Native American and Anglo traditions. Using an intimate B&B as home base for four nights, we’ll explore all these traditions with many private home, studio and museum visits. A highlight will be touring the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in town and later traveling to the artist’s celebrated adobe home and studio outside of town in Abiquiú. In addition, spend a day traveling to Taos on the scenic High Road and return to Santa Fe along the Low Road, stopping at historic villages and interesting museums along the way.

Join us at one of the world’s biggest art events of the year: Miami Art Week. Centered around Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Week includes a number of fairs throughout the city, including Art Miami, Untitled, Scope, NADA, and more.   • ARKANSAS: NORTHWEST.

    This trip explores the hidden treasures of art, craft, and architecture in Northwest Arkansas. We'll take a close look at the grounds, architecture, and the permanent collection of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, home to works by Winslow Homer, Jasper Johns, and more.

  • CALIFORNIA: LOS ANGELES.

    Get a true behind-the-scenes view of the city Art Muse LA knows best. Our custom-crafted itineraries feature in-depth visits to must-see museums like The Getty and LACMA, along with lesser-known but equally significant venues. Gallery hops can be arranged to get a firsthand glimpse at LA’s thriving art scene, including private visits to artist studios. Our groups also enjoy special access to private collections.

  • CALIFORNIA: SAN FRANCISCO.

    Personalized art itineraries of museums and galleries explore the art riches of our cultural neighbor to the north. San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), one of the largest modern and contemporary museums in the US, provides a full day for exploring the collection and special exhibitions. Get away from the crowds with a walking art history tour in the Presidio to experience Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line (2010–2011) and visit the Fine Arts Museums, comprised of the de Young Museum and Legion of Honor.

  • COLORADO: DENVER.

    Our itinerary highlights several of Denver’s outstanding museums and cultural attractions, including the Denver Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver), featuring an architectural walking tour led by an expert local historian and a private art collection and gallery reception.

  • FLORIDA: MIAMI

    This trip offers immersion into the dynamic art scene of Miami. Begin in Miami Beach. Highlights include a walking tour of Little Havana, private tours of the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA NOMI), and a visit to the famed Wynwood Walls.

  • ILLINOIS: CHICAGO.

    Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes with 2 Art Muse Midwest natives who spent many years as Chicagoans. We’ll cover the major art and architectural jewels of the city while also spotlighting off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods, restaurants, and artist studios. Our trip will feature private artist studio tours, along with many other one-of-a-kind art experiences.

  • ITALY: VENETO REGION.

    Art Muse LA’s co-founder Robin Trento custom designed and will lead this tour to the Veneto, a region she knows intimately. The tour will allow immersion into Northeast Italy, an area rich in fine art and architecture, with good wines, Palladian villas, elegant historic towns, and ruined castles. Charming hotels in Bassano del Grappa and Padua will be home base while visiting the nearby towns of Marostica, Asolo, Cittadella, Castelfranco Veneto, and more.

  • MICHIGAN: DETROIT.

    Take a close-up look at Detroit's cultural renaissance: you'll meet the dynamic artists spearheading change, and visit neighborhoods abuzz with renewal and creativity. We zero in on the Motor City’s many long-established treasures, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, and beautifully preserved pre-Depression era skyscrapers like the famous Guardian Building.

  • MEXICO: MEXICO CITY.

    This booming metropolis flaunts a dizzying array of must-see art and architecture. It’s a place like no other, where ancient and contemporary cultures commingle and collide. Itinerary highlights include visits to the Aztec Templo Mayor, Museo Jumex designed by David Chipperfield, Diego Rivera’s many mural projects at the Palacio Nacional and Rivera’s house and studio designed by Juan O’Gorman, Casa Luis Barragán, and La Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo’s birthplace and lifelong home.

  • NEW YORK: NYC AND HUDSON RIVER VALLEY.

    We'll begin in New York City, where we will tour select special exhibitions at the major museums, visit galleries and private collections, and meet artists in their Brooklyn studios. We recommend an autumn visit when colorful foliage sets the stage for our stops at the Hudson River Valley to see Kykuit (John D. Rockefeller Estate), Storm King Art Center, Dia Beacon, and Frederick Church's picturesque home and studio, Olana State Historic Site.

  • SPAIN: BARCELONA AND BILBAO.

    Enjoy an art-filled experience in Barcelona and Bilbao exploring the modern and contemporary cultural splendors in each city of Spain. We'll stay in centrally-located hotels and enjoy delicious, regional cuisine in celebrated restaurants. Private gallery and artist studio visits will be featured together with guided tours at major museums and other important cultural venues.

  • SPAIN: BARCELONA AND MADRID.

    Spend time in Barcelona and Madrid exploring the history and cultural splendors in each city. We'll stay in centrally-located hotels and enjoy delicious, regional cuisine in celebrated restaurants. Private visits to galleries and artist studios will be featured together with guided tours at major museums and other important cultural venues.

  • TEXAS: MARFA

    Marfa, Texas, is not in the middle of nowhere. It’s at the far edge of nowhere, and that is to say it's magic. In 1971, the renowned minimalist artist Donald Judd moved to Marfa from New York City with the intention of installing his art. Since Judd's death in 1994, two organizations have been working to maintain his legacy: The Chinati Foundation and Judd Foundation, sites that we will visit.

  • WASHINGTON, DC.

    Experience spectacular new and old museums in our nation’s capital during this tour. It features an in-depth tour of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which opened in 2016. The museum, housed in a visually striking, metal-clad building, tells powerful stories about the African American experience. Also included are private tours at the National Gallery of Art, National Portrait Gallery, The Kreeger Museum, The Phillips Collection, and artist studio visits.

  • WISCONSIN: MILWAUKEE AND RACINE.

    Join us on a lively jaunt to explore the state’s art and architectural wonders—past and present. We’ll tour the Racine Art Museum, which holds the largest and most significant contemporary craft collection in North America, take a walking tour of Downtown Milwaukee, and get a close look at some of Frank Lloyd Wright’s finest architectural gems.
