Welcome to the first issue of Art Muse LA Premium! This has been a long time in the making, and we are excited to bring you well-researched, unique content from our team. February is one of the busiest months for Art Muse LA because we work with the Frieze art fair sponsor Deutsche Bank to create and present tours to their clients. Since Frieze LA started, it’s now in its third location at the Santa Monica Airport. We are researchers at heart, so we were curious about the airport's history, and it has some stories to tell. Continuing with the topic of Frieze, we created an artist spotlight on Guimi You’s work, featured in the fair’s Focus section (galleries that have been operating for 12 years or less). This is also the time to put your best foot forward in the art world, so we have profiled our art fair “must-haves” in the Lifestyle section. Art fairs are busy, fast-paced places, so we also have advice on how to navigate one. And we wrap up this issue with a playlist focused on songs about Los Angeles to celebrate our city and our visitors in town for art.
