Join Art Muse Kara Walker Tomé for a tour of a unique exhibition at the Art and Cultural Center/Hollywood. Exposed is the 15 th annual exhibition and fundraiser of 70 South Florida artists’ work. This is a great opportunity to survey a curated group of some of the most interesting contemporary, professional artists working today in the region!
Curator Meaghan Kent will talk about the Center, her curatorial role and the inventive format of the fundraiser (on September 29th) and Kara will highlight a handful of the artists she has worked with as an independent curator. Special guests will include artists Cheryl Maeder and Patricia Schnall-Gutierrez who are in the show and will chat about their work. More surprise guests will be present as well!
The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood was founded in 1975 as the only visual arts non-profit organization in south Broward County. The Center presents contemporary gallery exhibitions, film screenings and award-winning education programs in the visual and performing arts at three unique facilities in downtown Hollywood.
