The American flag stands as the symbol of the Land of the Free, but has complex, contradictory, and sometimes difficult meanings. This Flag Day, join Muse Chloe Landis, and together we’ll explore the history of the flag and a variety of contemporary artists who use the flag to explore national identity, the rights of the flag vs. citizens, and its ability to unify and polarize.
